I'm a mama to two little ones who completely flipped my world upside down in the best way possible, and also to two fur babies. My 14 year old miniature Dachshund named Sir Charles Oscar Mayer Weiner Dog the First - aka Charlie - and my 10 year old girl Penny, who deceived me into believing she was a wired hair dachshund but in reality is..part opossum? Not really sure..

I'm a lover of the outdoors- the mountains, the beach, and everything in between - but this girl's camping days are over. I appreciate insect life, but I don't want to be sleeping with them.

I was born in Germany and raised as an Army brat, but I have lived on Aquidneck Island most of life. I love to travel and explore new places. Always down for a trip!

My husband and I eloped in Acadia National Park in 2020. I was almost 6 months pregnant with our daughter and our son was 2 at the time. Even if it hadn't been in the middle of a global pandemic, I still wouldn't have changed a thing. I really hate being the center of attention and doing the whole wedding day just wasn't for me.. Yes, a wedding photographer who didn't want a wedding.. The photos were what was the most important! Experiencing that, first hand, really lit a fire within me.
